Ciao, sono Thomas. Sono franco-tedesco e vivo a Calangianus, nel cuore della Gallura, in Sardegna. Prima di dedicarmi alla pesca ho fatto per venticinque anni l’educatore sportivo: un lavoro che mi ha dato solide basi di didattica e pedagogia, la capacità di trasmettere una tecnica con metodo, pazienza e attenzione a chi impara. Il mio progetto è mettere questa esperienza al servizio della mia passione più grande, la pesca a mosca.

In Sardegna questa tecnica resta ancora poco diffusa, e il mio progetto prevede di farla conoscere qui in modo continuativo, affiancandola a tenkara, spinning e belly boat. Nei torrenti e nei laghi dell’interno si potrà cercare la trota e il black bass; lungo la costa e nelle lagune, la spigola. Ogni ambiente ha il suo approccio, e la tecnica andrà adattata al luogo, non il contrario.

Il servizio che sto costruendo prevede piccoli gruppi, massimo due persone per uscita: preferisco puntare sulla qualità dell’accompagnamento tecnico piuttosto che sul numero di partecipanti. Seguirò a breve la formazione di guida ambientale: conoscere il territorio e rispettarlo fa parte dello stesso mestiere.

Oltre al francese e al tedesco, parlo anche italiano e inglese: che tu venga dalla Sardegna, dal resto d’Italia o da fuori, non ci sarà barriera linguistica tra noi. Il corso AIGUPP è il primo passo concreto di questo progetto.

Bonjour, je m’appelle Thomas. Je suis franco-allemand et je vis à Calangianus, dans le cœur de la Gallura, en Sardaigne. Avant de me consacrer à la pêche, j’ai travaillé pendant vingt-cinq ans comme éducateur sportif : un métier qui m’a donné de solides bases en pédagogie et en didactique, la capacité de transmettre une technique avec méthode, patience et attention à celui qui apprend. Mon projet est de mettre cette expérience au service de ma plus grande passion, la pêche à la mouche.

En Sardaigne, cette technique reste encore peu pratiquée, et mon projet prévoit de la faire découvrir ici de manière continue, aux côtés du tenkara, du spinning et du belly boat. Dans les torrents et les lacs de l’intérieur, on pourra chercher la truite et le black-bass ; le long des côtes et dans les lagunes, le loup (bar). Chaque environnement a son approche, et la technique devra s’adapter au lieu, et non l’inverse.

Le service que je suis en train de construire prévoit de petits groupes, deux personnes maximum par sortie : je préfère miser sur la qualité de l’accompagnement technique plutôt que sur le nombre de participants. Je suivrai prochainement la formation de guide environnemental : connaître le territoire et le respecter fait partie du même métier.

Outre le français et l’allemand, je parle aussi l’italien et l’anglais : que vous veniez de Sardaigne, du reste de l’Italie ou d’ailleurs, il n’y aura pas de barrière linguistique entre nous. Le cours AIGUPP est la première étape concrète de ce projet.

Hallo, ich heiße Thomas. Ich bin deutsch-französisch und lebe in Calangianus, im Herzen der Gallura, auf Sardinien. Bevor ich mich der Fischerei widmete, habe ich fünfundzwanzig Jahre lang als Sportpädagoge gearbeitet: ein Beruf, der mir solide Grundlagen in Didaktik und Pädagogik gegeben hat, die Fähigkeit, eine Technik mit Methode, Geduld und Aufmerksamkeit für den Lernenden zu vermitteln. Mein Projekt ist es, diese Erfahrung in den Dienst meiner größten Leidenschaft zu stellen: das Fliegenfischen.

Auf Sardinien ist diese Technik noch wenig verbreitet, und mein Projekt sieht vor, sie hier dauerhaft bekannt zu machen, zusammen mit Tenkara, Spinnfischen und Belly-Boat-Angeln. In den Bächen und Seen im Landesinneren wird man Forelle und Black Bass fischen können; an der Küste und in den Lagunen den Wolfsbarsch. Jede Umgebung hat ihren eigenen Ansatz, und die Technik muss sich dem Ort anpassen, nicht umgekehrt.

Der Service, den ich aufbaue, sieht kleine Gruppen vor, maximal zwei Personen pro Ausflug: Mir ist die Qualität der technischen Begleitung wichtiger als die Teilnehmerzahl. Ich werde in Kürze die Ausbildung zum Umweltführer absolvieren: das Gebiet zu kennen und zu respektieren gehört zum selben Beruf.

Neben Französisch und Deutsch spreche ich auch Italienisch und Englisch: ob Sie aus Sardinien, aus dem übrigen Italien oder von auswärts kommen, es wird keine Sprachbarriere zwischen uns geben. Der AIGUPP-Kurs ist der erste konkrete Schritt dieses Projekts.

Hi, I’m Thomas. I’m French-German and I live in Calangianus, in the heart of Gallura, Sardinia. Before dedicating myself to fishing, I worked for twenty-five years as a sports educator: a job that gave me solid foundations in teaching and pedagogy, the ability to pass on a technique with method, patience and attention to the learner. My project is to put this experience at the service of my greatest passion, fly fishing.

In Sardinia this technique is still not widely practised, and my project involves introducing it here on an ongoing basis, alongside tenkara, spinning and belly boat fishing. In the inland streams and lakes, it will be possible to fish for trout and black bass; along the coast and in the lagoons, for sea bass. Each environment calls for its own approach, and the technique will need to adapt to the place, not the other way round.

The service I’m building will offer small groups, a maximum of two people per outing: I’d rather focus on the quality of technical guidance than on the number of participants. I will shortly be taking the environmental guide training: knowing the land and respecting it is part of the same job.

Besides French and German, I also speak Italian and English: whether you come from Sardinia, the rest of Italy, or elsewhere, there will be no language barrier between us. The AIGUPP course is the first concrete step of this project.
