I discovered fishing at a very young age, exploring the clear streams and alpine lakes of the Dolomites and the Friulian Alps, where every outing felt like an adventure. Over the years, I experimented with different techniques, learning to appreciate the patience, observation, and respect that this activity requires. Then, as study and work took me away from home, my passion for fishing never faded. On the contrary, it grew, evolved, and found its truest expression in fly fishing.
For me, fly fishing is much more than a technique, it’s a way to connect deeply with water, with fish, and with the wild places that host them. Through the art of fly tying, I’ve found a way to combine creativity, knowledge, and a profound respect for nature.
As a geologist, I read rivers and landscapes not only as fishing grounds but as living systems, shaped by time, water, and earth. This scientific perspective enriches my understanding of the environments I fish in and constantly reminds me how fragile and precious they are.
Guiding others into this world is one of my greatest joys. My goal is to lead you to memorable waters, where every cast tells a story of nature, balance, and the timeless harmony between angler and river.
